Party 3/6 - typical. All these players are unknown to me.

I'm in EP with A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif K /images/graemlins/spade.gif.

I open raise. MP calls, button re-raises, I call, and now MP decides to cap. Huh? I can't think of any situation I would do this.

Flop: K /images/graemlins/club.gif, Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

I check, MP checks, button bets. I raise and MP re-raises. Button and I both call. I'm worried now.

Turn: 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Check, MP bets, button folds, I call.

River: 3 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Check, bet, call.

What do you put your opponent on and would you play any differently?

I think you played it fine. I'ld be worried that MP had a set of sevens, but there really is no way you can get away from this hand.

Why would you limp-cap pre-flop with a pair of sevens?

Someone has AK hearts and rivered the flush.

My opponent had K /images/graemlins/heart.gif J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif and I added him to my buddy list. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm not saying I would do that, but once the 77 is already in for that many bets, he might have just decided to cap, possibly to represent a bigger holding.
