This post shows the advantage of betting.
Ok, a few loose calling stations, a few aggressive average players, and other unknown players online. I see TT in the BB, 4 limpers, I raise. Flop babies. I bet, all four call. Ok, no biggie. Turn an Ace, @#$@#%#%#%#$. I bet, all call! I check the river first to act, four players all check, and I win, with two overcards on board, even! /images/graemlins/smile.gif
I'm so glad I bet the turn, I was really considering checking, and I probably would have folded the winning hand if someone bet the turn.
