I tried out Pokertracker recently. I was going through a bad run at the time. But what I found interesting was that I had lost more money with two pair than single pairs. I think there are two reasons for this.

1. Because the cards i play are generally connectors - if you flop two pair, then it is more likely your cards are good for someone elses straight.

2. I find it much harder to fold two pair. I start off raising but when I'm reraised i become a caller. No doubt that is often a fairly fishy play.

Any tips on playing two pair better would be appreciated.

Use caution when looking at these statistics in Pokertracker. It does not distinguish the times you "really" had 2 pair from those time the board was paired or double paired. Example: you limp with 22, flop is AAK you fold, counts as losing with 2 pair.
