Oh dear.

Online NLHE game. Small raise preflop, four players in, flop was checked round. On the turn, the board is something like A-9-6-2, all spades. I have the queen of spades on the button.

Check, check, player bets half the pot into me. Hmmm. I decide to flat call and see what the other two do. They both call.

River is a blank. Check, check, bettor bets the pot.

Now, surely he has the nut flush, right? He got three callers on the turn. He can't be betting the J or worse for value, and it doesn't look like a bluff can succeed. Right? RIGHT?

So I fold. The other two call. The bettor has the J flush and wins.

Bad read. Play something else.

Guy.

It was on Party of course.

I have no idea what they mucked: I don't routinely get hand histories, and in any case they don't seem to be able to send me histories at all at the moment.

It was a good read, even on Party -- most of the time, you would be right. But definitely put the two callers on your buddies list. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you aren't getting hand histories, check what they have for your email address.
