MP calls, CO calls, I call, BB calls.
Flop: Q /images/graemlins/club.gif 5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
BB checks. MP bets. CO folds. I raise to find out where I'm at. BB folds. MP 3 bets. I fold.

MP was slightly loose... but his play so far didn't make me think he was cap happy. I figured he would only 3-bet me with hand that would take me down. A-5, K-5, K-Q, KK...

Did I make a mistake by raising the folp?

But if I don't raise the flop how can I profitably play this situation. Call him down?

Thanks for the input.

My buddy says I should not fold to a 3 bet in the situation. I say that, unless the opponent is cap happy, I can fold to this 3 bet because of the statement it makes.

Could someone give me a general rule as to when to fold to 3-bets?
