James McManus has a review of Poker Nation in today's New York Times. McManus has a book coming out nextSpring, which I assume is an expansion of his Harper's article on the WSOP entitled Positively 5th Street.

well, ive plrobably watched you play. i play the 4-8 usually, sometimes 6-12, sometimes 10-20 (i don't really have the bankroll yet, but have taken a few shots...) occasionally ill sit in the 5-10 O8 game if the list is coniderably shorter. haven't been playing recently, but next time im planning to go, ill post here. do you know the other 2+2 harrah's east players? (i think soccermike, KevinJ, SPM and maybe a couple others? could be mistaken, memory is hazy.)

how would you say the 50-100 usually plays? ive watched extensively, and seen some pretty horrible players, and some pretty dang good ones. saw a lady buy in for like $600 once. (maybe more, but not much) pretty dumb buy in. which game H?O?S?E? do you think you earn the most at when you play?

Here's the link. You have to register with the NYT to veiw it. Registration is free, but I have to say that their's is the most inefficient and pathetically inept web site design I've come across in a long time. They ought to hire Chuck to straighten them out.

believe it or not the game is very easy. There is maybe one or 2 good players and the rest are from average to really bad. Last week in about 17 hours of playing time i won 7 k and I know that i can do it every week as I am getting better everytime since i ve been playing poker for not even 1 year. I love hose and i love to take the money from those suckers
