Anyone else been shut down by the google parasite

I recently got a parasite on my computer that wouldn't let me have access to google, lycos, and some other sites. I thought I fixed the problem, but the parasite came back. I thought I fixed it a second time, but now I can't even get on to the internet, and I'm shut out from every poker site except Paradise (I'm writing this post from the public library). I pretty much only go online to gambling related sites, so I figure if I got this parasite somebody else from 2+2 probably got it as well.

I'd appreciate some advice on how I can get my computer up and running again. Thanks.
