Question for Mason

Mason, we all know about what you think of T.J.'s limit holdem book. But what's your review of the no-limit and pot-limit concepts found in T.J. Cloutier's Championship No-Limit & Pot-Limit Hold'em?

I gave the book a 6. The Ciaffone pot limit/no limit book is much better.

I love the Ciaffone book, but I've been frustrated by its ragged tempo. They don't present their ideas in a smooth, easy to comprehend and retain way a la S&M, Jones, or Krieger.


That's not really a criticism, though. It's like my theory professor said when I complained about playing an extremely quiet instrument (the classical guitar): "People will just have to listen more closely."


The Ciaffone book requires much rereading, and perhaps that makes it even better yet.
