I have taken a lot of advice off of this website that has turned me from a so so player in to a winning poker player. I don't have the bank roll to play NL or PL holdm outside of tournaments. Here in New Orleans at Harrahs they are spreading a NL game. I have watched the game while waiting for a table the past 2 fridays and it has got to be the softest game with some of the worst players playing in it for huge stakes.

The blind is 2.50/5.00 but I saw many pots get up to 2000 with people calling with 2nd pair on the flop all the way to the river hoping to hit one of their 5 outs. Believe me when I tell you that those of you that do this for a living would be smart to make a "business trip" to New Orleans on the weekend. They spread that game I think Thurs-Sun, call the poker room to find out.

I've heard Mason talk about why NL dies at most casino's. He said because it's almost gets too boring because the expert NL player will just wait until he has the major advantage. This is not the case in this game. Pots are typically multi-way.

I know a lot of people get turned off by people telling others about good games, at least publicly. Fact is I wont be playing in that game anytime soon so personally it wont do anything to me. On top of that I have been making about 100 a week playing mid stake holdm on-line and at the B&M in large part due to the advice I have gotten from people here and the 2+2 books. It is a way for me to give back to people that have helped me.

If you're playing poker for a living and are comfortable at the higher stakes you have got to make that game.
