Here and there, I watched a few hands of the $500+$30 yesterday. Anyhow, I think (I could be wrong) I saw the 2nd place finisher (Lucky007) take a beat very early on (level I) when his KK got cracked by QQ on the river. He was left with about T50 or so. Anyhow, I think this reinforces the "chip and chair" saying.

I had 128 chips once in a multi on party when the blinds were 500/1000 and i ended up winning 5 hands in a row and got to about 15,000 chips. That was with about 45 people left in the tourney and I ended up busting out at 22nd when I went all in on the button with no limpers with A/Jo and BB had AA. Any way, any one can get lucky. All you to do is hang on and don't give up.

I saw a guy playing in a single table SnG at Stars who was reduced to T20 in level 2 (15/30 blinds). When I was busted out in 3rd place, he had built his stack up to about $7k and had 2x as many chips as the next guy.

FWIW, in the hand he played for his last 20 chips, he pushed in with 24o and flopped 2 pair.
