Anyone played there? How is competition?

I've only played $4/8. It's soft as it comes. I counted 7-9 people seeing every flop for one bet. It was like playing on Party.

I don't know how the $10/20 is. There is usually a 1-2 hour waiting list.

I called down there a while back trying to decide if it was worth the trip. They only have 1 casino that even has poker and then there are only 7 or so tables in that room.

Lake Charles has 2 casino's that spread poker - the Coushatta and Isle of Capri. The Capri recently opened a new room which is the entire 3rd floor of one of their boats. They easily have 20 tables in there now.

The rake still sucks - but it's the same as you pay in Shreveport...
