View Full Version : Best Seat vs Expert

David Slanksy posted a question with the above subject title in the Mid-High Stakes Forum today. I have read through the responses and something about the whole thing is grating. Within the framework of choices given as to seating aganist the so-called world class player, the responses are passive. The intent is one of negation. It is my opinion the this amounts to psycological capitulation. And that such a stance will actually increase the "experts" sway over you and the table as a whole. You think you are gaining advantage- but are you really?

Everyone responded in almost the same fashion.

The exception is probably Tommy Angelo's response. It was a bit refreshing.

Comments? Explanations? What do others thing of this analysis.

Refreshing due to it's brevity and lack of an explanation?

The best seat against someone else who is going to take money out of the game is usualy half way around the table from them. Get as far away as possible.. dont share with them!

usualy otherconsiderations are more important tho. Like where the big losers are. Where the crazy asian is.. etc..
