I'm in the SB with Q /images/graemlins/spade.gifQ /images/graemlins/club.gif

Folded all the way around to a LP Player (new to the table) who limps to me, I raise. BB folds. LP calls.

Flop

3/images/graemlins/club.gif6 /images/graemlins/club.gif10 /images/graemlins/club.gif

LP checks, I bet, LP calls

Turn Card 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

LP checks, I bet, LP raises me, I call.

River Card 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif

LP Bets, I call.....

How did I play this hand? What do you think LP turned over?

Were you in the small blind? If so, it is confusing how the LP player is acting before you on each round of betting. Please clarify.

It appears you played it fine though.

I think that you played it fine. Regarding your opponent hand how about 66?

He turned over A /images/graemlins/diamond.gifA /images/graemlins/club.gif for the Nut Flush.

What do ppl think of him limping in with the A's?

I would three-bet the turn here. There are many hands your opponent will try to make a move with in this spot. Only a few of them have you beat.

When my opponent bets into me on the river, I call.

With the 3 bet on the turn do you call the cap? Call the cap then fold a river bet or are you saying make it 3 bets then call the rest of the way....?

Thanks for the response.
