Anybody read any of this guy's stuff? I just started reading A Wild Sheep Chase and I am liking it so far. just wondering if anybody had an opinion on the guy.

and i think it's high time there is a discussion in this forum about something other than middle-east politics, or any politics for that matter...

I liked this book, but I like Japanese surrealism quite a bit. Windup Bird was also good. Dance, Dance, Dance I didn't care for that much.

Chuck W. had a thread about the movie Spirited Away early this year. If you liked it, you might like this book. The themes are completely different, but some of the tone is similar.
