What do people think of Jim Brier's columns in Card Player magazine?

In my opinion Card Player has very good columnists and Jim Brier is one of the best.

Great is his free-card issue.

I very much enjoy his column - I think it is one of the best ones in the magazine. And there are no 'wasted' columns - each one deals with a particular strategy or situation, and provides practical examples. One may not agree with his 'solution' each time, but it does provide the reader with something to think about.

Factual, real life hand play analysis. And what a reader also appreciates from reading Jim's columns is that he is unpretentious. When reading some other authors, you nearly get intoxicated with individual's self promotion.


In my opinion, the Card Player magazine did an excellent job by adding Jim Brier to the list of its regular columnists.
