Vegas Poker Room Question

A friend and I are trying to make Vegas hotel reservations for Columbus day weekend, it's our first trip to Vegas and we will be playing mostly poker. We're looking for a hotel with a poker room where we can get a good poker room rate. We wanna play low limits (2/4 ideally, but 3/6, 4/8 if necessary.) Does anyone have any suggestions? The hotel must be on the strip and hopefully have soft games. Anyone's input would be much appreciated! (Right now it looks like the Luxor is our best bet.)

2-4 is rarely spread on the Strip. But, the two rooms which are most reliable for having it are the Monte Carlo and Flamingo. I always reccomend the Monte Carlo for various reasons.

If you stay at the MC, you will be within one mile of poker rooms at Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur (to the South), Bellagio, Flamingo, and Mirage (to the North).
