I think for this poll you should distinguish between a three flush on board and a four flush on board. Should we assume the question only applies to the former situation?

the poll is way too vague even with this distinction. it doesn't mention what card is paired, what the action has been like, the size of the bet you are facing, etc.

surely only a madman would consider this poll scientific.

Unpaired it says.

It's more of a history poll, ratioing the times in the past you have folded a flush. I was too lazy to set the the 200ish variables.

Assume 3 flush cards on the board though.

I'm just interested in the percentage of players that will never fold a flush.

I'm shocked at the percentage that fold 1 in 5 though, wow.

I probably don't fold a flush one in five times, but given the options available in the poll, I though it was the best.

Playing a lot of NLHE in loose games, you're often going to catch flushes that have the potential to get you into serious trouble (mid suited connectors, etc.) I, for one, don't like putting my money in on these hands against players who play very poorly--I'm going to get a chance to bust them with a much clearer advantage later.

1 in 10-15 just felt a little too infrequent, the integer options seemed absurd, so I went with 1 in 5.

I don't have hand histories to cull through to figure out my real percentage, but would be curious to hear what percentages other people come up with from some stat program...

Anyone?
