favorite threads?

Alright, I'm an idiot. I see a "favorite threads" feature on My Home on this site, but I can't figure out how to add threads to my favorites. Is something hiding in plain view?

(Ok, now I see that I have the option below when I write this message, but how about a thread I'm not contributing to?)

scroll far down on a post when you are viewing it and you should see a favorite post (toggle) link. click this and you will add it to your list.
