You better look like a mature 20 year old or you will get carded. I don't know if they have computerized age verification machines(for your Drivers license), but my province does, and I got carded when I was 30?? I only never got carded if I grew a thick beard like a homeless guy......

I watched a guy who was 31 get carded by: the dealer; the cocktail girl; security; the next dealer; the floor; and last but not least, the floor manager. All this happend within 1 hour of his sitting down.

I've been going to the Taj since I was 19 without a problem.

I've never been to the Borgata while <21 but they did not card me there, nor did I see anyone else get carded.

Trop gave me a players club card without even checking my ID.

When I was there, no one ever asked for my ID at the Borgata.

I got carded repeatedly in Vegas. Draw your own conclusions.

From what I've seen at both they rely on the fact that you had to get carded to grab a players club card as verification of age, If all else fails, see if you can gank a borgata or taj card off of someone and that should get you not hassled. Just remember you're putting that casino's license at risk if the gaming commission catches them being negligent. And the fines and penalties for you can be harsh too.

You should have no problems at the Taj. I'm in my early 20's and they've never carded me. Just tell them you don't need to be signed in if they ask you. Also, they're usually so damn busy on the weekends that it would be a waste of their time to check all the "younger" looking players for ID. Don't worry about it. Obviously you're taking a risk, but at the worst, you'll get kicked out and might loose your buy in. They'll let you back in when you're legal though...they still want your money.

Good luck.

I never saw anyone get carded in an AC poker room. The casino is a different story though

I was playing at Canterbury on Saturday and suddenly 2 security people and a floor person canme over to the table behind me and asked to see everyone's ID, even the older people. I thought this was kind of interesting, I've haven't ever seen anything like that. I never did find out what it was about.

ive played at the taj when i was 19 without a problem. However, when I went with a friend who looked young, the front desk carded all of us. so don't go with youngins.

They don't have anything electronic to check your ID, so an adequate fake will probably do. If not, they'll just turn you around. Too much hassle to press charges or any such thing.

Few years ago I have won 25 000$ in a black jack ' tournement , and before they game the check they ask to see my ID . I was only 19 y o . But they gave me anyway , because , in that area the minimum age to go in a casino is 18 y o .

I went to play at the Casino - Rama in Ontario in may 2001 , I was 21 ( 19 y o is the minumum there . ) . And they are very severe there , because in Ontario , if the gambling - commision found a 18 y o or less , the casino receive a penalty of 50000$ / head . + according to the security officer there , the security ' guy who hasn't check the ID of a 18 y o or less who get caugh by the Gambling-commision will be fired right away . All the 3 days we were there , we have been checked .

When I went to AC ( I was 21 years 11 months ) , I have never been checked .

I went to vegas at 22 years - 3 month , and they ask my ID twice , and not by a security guy but by dealers . So I showed my driving licenses from prov. of Quebec . But on that card itsn't written the birth-day . My # ' driving licenses is P2305-040380-06 . March 4th 1980 . The dealer look at the card and didn't know what to do ...and give it back to me quickly and change my money . The 2nd time the dealer ask to the pit boss what to do with . And the pit boss just ask me my birthday .

It was probably a stud or omaha table which had hit the bad beat jackpot, they ask for everyone's ID to get their table share.

I'm 22, but I look like I'm 18 or so. I've never been carded at the Taj.

On the other hand, I have two underage friends who went to the Taj recently. One got carded after a couple hours of play when a guy at the table complained, so he "went out to his car to get it" and never came back. The other underage kid kept playing.

I'm 23 and look 17. I never get carded if I play 4/8 or lower. I've gotten carded at the cage every time I've played higher and gone to cash in more than a rack of red.
