Which is the better software for running simulations. Mike Caro's Poker Probe or Turbo Texas Hold'em for Windows?

You may want to look at the General Theory forum. There has been much discussion of the merits of TTH simulations there recently.

Those are fairly different pieces of software.

Poker Probe does showdown sims and while TTH can do similar most of the simulation value of TTH is in being able to simulate actual player actions.

TTH also allows for the player to play against the computer. This can have some value when first learning a game. Poker Probe has a "hand value quiz" program.

I own both. I think both have value above their selling price.

Is there any software where you can set the game up yourself? Such as adding a joker, shortening a deck, dealing the board one at a time etc.
