First of all I may be behind the curve on this but the HD picture simply WOWs me. I would have subscribed to the HD service sooner but my local cable service just began offering it here about 3 weeks ago. I spent 2 weeks attempting to negotiate away their $50 installation fee knowing I could hook-up the new box and connections myself. Alas to no avail so in poker parlance, "I folded". /images/graemlins/smile.gif
The detail on the field is better than I could have imagined. My install took place last Saturday so I watched the ESPN Sunday night broadcast in HD. Besides being a great game to watch I believe I appreciated the game even more due to the enhanced clarity and detail. I recommend to anyone on the bubble to take the leap and both purchase your HDTV monitor and subscribe to an HDTV service ASAP. You will not be disappointed.
