There really isn't a definitive tourny poker book yet but in my opinion the best one on the market is Tom McEvoy's Tournament Poker. The Bjunter book is no good and way overpriced in my opinion.

Gambling Theory and Other Topics has 40 some pages of excellent tourney advice. It's both brief and solid. It is also general enough to give you lots of room to be creative and adaptable.

I thought this was a very informative book. It covers practically EVERY different type of tournament you will ever encounter. The question and answer section in the back of the book is great, too.

Seriously, this book is probably THE BOOK to get for various tournament strategies. It talks about all the different stages of tournament play, and how to adjust. Another interesting section offers some insight into why very few people are good at both tournaments AND ring games.

If you are serious about tournament play, this is one book you won't want to do without!

Good luck!
