i bought mason's book poker essays . i was wondering if i have a section of the book missing.when i open the book the first 4 pages are 55-56-57-58 on reading hands.then i have the table of contents which starts with part 5.after that the book is ok.i was also thinking of buying poker essays 2 and 3 could someonetell me if there is a lot of difference between the 3 books . thank you

It sounds like you have a bad book If that's the case take it back to where you bought it and they should replace it or you can send it back to:

Get all three. It is money well spent. New topics are covered in the different books. And I'm not a shill or anything. You will be at a disadvantage at the tables if you ignore Vols. II&III

the best part of poker essays II is the affirmations. I have found them to of great benefit to my game. Many times I have wanted to leave the table because I was hungry, when i said to myself "when its time to eat i'll stay in my seat." Suddenly I am not hungry anymore! :-)


In all seriousness you should buy all three, although in my opinion III is by far the best.

this guy and the stuff he relates to us is absolutely the fargin nuts... I dare any purist who can say he`s read the contents infrequently... Mason is truly a man of insight....
