To be totally honest I wish I had read this book first before the other poker books I read. It would of settled alot of questions that I left the table with when I wasn't sure what just happened. I would wonder how the heck does the dealer keep track of the rake, watching the pot, Omaha hand reading, etc. The book was good for me but it would of been great 4 years ago.

I've met Donna Harris and she is a class act who knows the business inside and out running the Mirage. Mason Malmuth a first class person who has silent knowledge of poker rooms in every aspect. Dan Paymar I don't know but he teaches at the Casino Gaming School for poker dealers.

I recommend this book for the beginner and intermediate casino card player. Also I would say it is mandatory for someone who wishes to become a dealer. The way they discuss the dealing, shuffling of the deck and counting the stub etc.

I was all set to scoff at this book before opening and after finishing it I give it praise.
