why is JTs ranked higher that QJs in Sklansky's Advanced Hold-em? What is the reputation for Paradise Poker's online service?

JT suited makes 1 more straight and all of them are to the nuts.

It makes another straight, but not necessarily a nut straight. I assume you were thinking that the addtional straight, JT987 is nut because it is the two top cards, which is true if the the board is 987bb (b=blank). However if the board is QJ987 or QT987 then the nut straight is KQJT9, using KT or KJ pockets, while the JT's straight only makes it to the Q. (These dont give me trouble in Holdem, but in Omaha, with all those cards out, it takes some time!)

It was implied but not stated that you have to use both cards. By your method, only AK can make nut straights.
