I am going to Montreal this weekend and was wondering about the casino. I had tried to contact them to see what games they offer but they don't seem to be interested in gettting back to me. From what i've heard on this site, there is unfortunalety no hold'em there, but what about craps, or other games.....does anyone know the spread of games offered in Montreal.

Anything would be great.

Thanks.

It's a provincial house aspiring to the reputation of Monte Carlo... Generally, the minimums at the table games are never lower than $25CAD in my experience /images/graemlins/mad.gif, and they don't spread real poker (because of the Language Police AFAIK) /images/graemlins/frown.gif Although, I think they do have Craps; and, there's always Grand Baccarat! /images/graemlins/wink.gif

For more information check out this link: Official Web Site (http://www.casino-de-montreal.com/accueil_cm.jsp?Params=y.CA.1.0)
En Anglais ;-) (http://www.casino-de-montreal.com/accueil_cm.jsp?Params=y.US.1.0)

Looks like their Games section is under construction... If you're a card-counting BJ player, don't bother playing there---in my experience, they shuffle too frequently and use 6 or more decks in the shoes.

The restaurant is excellent; however, it pales compared to the one at Casino du Lac Leamy (across the river from Ottawa, Ontario, in what was once Hull, and now the megacity of Gatineau, Quebec)!

I would eat at the Casino in Montréal; but, I wouldn't play there.

They have $5 CAD and $10 CAD blackjack. Also, the reason they don't spread poker is because it's not as profitable as slots, not for any reason like the strange one you're suggesting.

Actually just got back from my weekend, and Montreal as a whole, what great city...it has everything you could want /images/graemlins/wink.gif

As for teh casino....no poker, and I can't stand BJ so I decided to play Let it ride....made a nice profit that almost paid for my trip (well atleast paid for all my stupidity)

Thanks for the responses.

I think the native reserve, outside of Montreal has poker, it's the same place that party is based out of.
