Hello all-

My appoligies for posting this in the internet forum but I consider this to be my home and from my experiences this is the side of town where the whores hang out. That aside, I will be going to vegas for the first time this month. While most of my time will be spend playing poker, it is not below me to attempt to whore at other games. I know some casinos offer blackjack matchplay coupons and some crazy slot offers like refunding all your loses for the first 15 minutes. I also have heard of some coupon books that are out there that have some great promos. Does anyone have any advice with regards to this?

Also, if any zooers are going to be in vegas september 20-24 let me know and i can buy you a comped drink /images/graemlins/grin.gif I'll most likely be playing 5/10 or 6/12 but may take a stab at a bigger game. It would be nice to put at least one face to a name during this trip.

Regards,
Cubswin(hopefully)

First off, where will you be staying? That makes a difference in what is worth your while. Start at Las Vegas Advisor (http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com) to check out what funbooks are available. This site has a nice book full of matchplays and good coupons if you want to become a member, even if you don't, there is still good info here and great links.

Next question, are you renting a car? If not, and you want to get full whore value, buy a CAT pass for $30. You can preorder one online and use Paypal to pay for it. Yes, Paypal is still good for some things /images/graemlins/smile.gif. Here is their site link, Las Vegas Bussing (http://www.rtc.co.clark.nv.us/cat.htm) I would recommend buying a schedule book too, under a $1; you can even take a CAT bus to your hotel from the airport to save cab/shuttle fare /images/graemlins/grin.gif!

Another source for match plays and coupons is Casino Player. Subscribe for one year for $24 and they will send you a book similiar to Las Vegas Advisor's. It pays for itself but it may be too late for you to do this.

Amercian Casino guide has great coupons in the back. I think it is like $13 at any major chain. Make sure it is the 2003 edition as some stores may still have last year's. /images/graemlins/mad.gif Many coupons in the back can be copied, though double sided, and be passed out to your friends. I got 6 $25 match plays at Foxwoods from doing this before they caught on. Most places will only be one per account but a true whore has many friends. I was able to hedge these MPs and give my friends $5 each and pocket $6 per coupon, so my book was more than paid for.

I would love to partake in a non- alcoholic beverage with you Cubby, I am sober 3+ years, but I won't be there until the 30th. It will be my 3rd time in two years so I will give you an example of my mini whore tour for the AM. It's been a while so bear with me in case some details are incorrect.

Most of these are supposed to be once a day, if you chose to double dip, do it on different shifts. Many casino employees look down on whores, so be prepared for some rolled eyes as you take the EV they give you.

I usually stay at Circus, it has a nice poker rate, $40 weekday, $55 weekend, and it's not as crazy as further south on the strip.
Acquire Circus Circus fun book, free at Market Express, which is easy to get to. Goto cashier and buy $15 for $10 win cards. They give you $15 in promo chips for $10 that you must play at table games. Alot of locations have this in some way, there is positive value here, take it. At CC, ask the cashier how often you can do this. I believe it is every 24 hours but this may have changed. Some locations it is once a lifetime; some are once a month, ask. I use these for a few hands of blackjack using basic strategy. There are a couple of 7 for 5 coupons in CC's funbook, not sure which. Also in the funbook is a $22 for $20 poker room coupon, give this to floor person when you buy in. The $3-$6 Hold Em here is nice although it may be to small for you.

Next, across the street to the Riviera to take the free spin, get a coupon from the guy outside. After you get a free slot spin, you will get a free deck of cards or a mug but more importantly a funbook. You can do the 40 for 20, though I would not recommend it. There are several 7 for 5 coupons in here worth playing. Walk into the casino to get your free scratch ticket and enter to win free show tickets. The scratch ticket is for a keno like drawing you can turn in once a day. Most likely you'll get crap, but as long as you are there. I don't remember how the show ticket drawing goes, but I won 2 tickets to Splash last year so it is worth the effort.

From there you go south down to the Stardust where you can get their funbook at the Logo shop. There are several 7 for 5 coupons in here. The poker gives pretty good room rates and from what I remember, had a monster bad beat jackpot.

Next down the road is the New Frontier. There is a printable $5 Blackjack Matchplay on their website, New Frontier (http://www.frontierlv.com) . I am not sure what else they offer, though supposedly there is a funbook available with some goodies. Maybe you could let me know?

It may seem like alot work for very little value. It does however fill some time especially in the AM when the games are usually rock gardens. If you find some low limit that are not, please let me know. My girlfriend and I won over $100 last year in a week just on this run, plus we got to see Splash, so it definately has positive EV.

Whatever casino you are in, look for funbooks or coupon sheets. Matchplays, 7 for 5 coupons and the win cards all have positive EV, but as you already know, it's a gamble.

Best of luck and let me know how you make out, and if you run into any more whoring opportunities. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Word.

LVA's gambling coupons alone should more than recover the cost of subscription. Getting 2-1 on all your Blackjack bets for an hour at The Golden Gate is a sweet deal...

I was in Vegas back in March. I hoped to meet DS/MM and get my copy of HPFAP signed. No luck. The only Zooer I ran into was a troll recently flamed out of the Zoo, Reggi. Here's the start of his saga: Reggi's 1st thread (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=184827&page=&view=&sb =5&o=)

Thanks for the great info. I will be staying downtown Saturday night at either the Cortez or Gold Spike. It seems these are the only two places that I could find that allow Saturday check-ins at a decent rate. I will be spending Sunday-Thursday at the Boardwalk. This arrangement should be idea for my bonus whoring.

For downtown, I plan to head straight for Golden Gate. I will ne hungry after my flight aqnd their .99 shrimp cocktails sound like a steal. My stomach settled, I'll hit up the Four Queens for their $15 im gaming chips for $10 and i'll hit up Fitgeralds for 7/5 blackjack and craps match plays. Then its on to Binions for some poker for the night,

Sunday is my day of poker. I realize that this will be the day when the most fish are in town so i must take advantage of it. Ill put in a long session at the bellagio and then reward myself with a nice dinner (even whores need to splurge every now and again). Any suggestions?

Monday, im off to Hoover dam in the morning with our $13 rental car...yes $13!!!! Later on monday i'll most likely head to the north end of the strip to resume the whoring. Some stops along the way will be Riviera with their 7/5 matchplays, Circus Circus for 7/5 BJ, $5 matchplay craps and the $22 for $20 poker offer and also the $15 of gaming chips for $10. Then im off to the new frontier for the $5 matchplay.

Tuesday and Wed i am not going to plan at all. I'd like to play a tourny at some point but havnt done the research yet to find out where one might be. Any suggestions here?

Also, for all of you in the DC/Baltimore area there are some good deals out of BWI on AmericaWest. My flight was $211.50 with tax.

Anyway, thanks again for your help. That website was great and i plan to purchase that book soon. Good luck with your trip and happy whoring.

In case you didn't already know, these places are not in a good part of town. Be very careful going from them to Fremont Street.

I assume that rental is for the day. Could you PM me the info for the rental agency? Thanks.

Also, from what people post on the B&M, the freezeouts in the AM at Mandalay Bay and Luxor are a joke.

I got those through orbitz...they are for weekday rentals, unlimited miles but dont include tax and whatever other fees that they slap on. New Frontier is the lowest there for an economy at $12.40 + grab your ankle fees. Thrifty has a midsize at $15.97 per day if you fancy a dodge stratus or simliar. Good deals are to be had by all.

I recently rented a Dodge Stratus at McCarron from Thrify. Renting a car at the LV airport is a breeze and very convenient. And my experience with Thrifty was mostly very good. However, beware of the insurance fees. I checked the wrong box and wound up paying more per day for insurance than for the actual car. Still it wasn't a bad deal. But driving in Vegas is terrible. VERY aggressive drivers and horrible traffic. It will be great when the mass transit system (whatever they're calling it) is fully operational.

how can you call your site bonuswhores.com when you don't even address this hotly debated topic?

Cause I've only been to Vegas to play cards once. I have no expertise on Vegas promos. Maybe we'll need a 3rd partner for this somewhere along the line. Think Bellagio has an affiliate program? /images/graemlins/wink.gif
