Survey: Do you think your EV is higher at one 15-30 Party Hold'em or one 30-60 PokerStar hold'em. Please feel free to elaborate. Most interested in winning Party player's responses with 1000 hours(indvidual table totals) plus experience who average over $20/hr per table.

Thanks

25-50 pokerroom more profitable for me than party cause I know exactly how to play against my opponents since they don't more arround as much. Yet pokerroom hit a time now where almost all the fish have died. I will be at party soon I suppose.

Below only applies to shorthanded, because thats the only game I play. Also, I havent played 1000 hours in each game (played Paradise for years, only switched 1.5 month ago to both sites).

But, having played about 20-30 hours a week since, I think I have a fairly good idea what my EV would be in both games.

If you compare one 15/30 Party to one 30/60 Pokerstars then I definetly pick the Pokerstars. However, you should practise some gameselection (at Party that virtually isnt necesarry). But if you look at 2 games Party vs 2 games 30/60 Pokerstars, it's a lot closer. But still Stars I think. That is because the opponents at Party require far less "player dependant" play than the 30/60 at stars. I have to concentrate a lot more to play that game well. So I think playing multiple games eats way more in you EV at Stars than at Party.

My pick would be this (so for shorthanded play):

One game 15/30 vs 30/60 : Pokerstars
Two games 15/30 vs one 30/60 : Party
Two games 15/30 vs two 30/60 : slightly Stars
Three games 15/30 vs two 30/60: Party (I know 3 is quite a bit, but I tried it and it can be done).
