Stars $3 NL Tourney last night. 1005 Participants. 230 left. I am seriously short stacked after a bad run of crap cards. I have 1468 left. Participants in this hand: SB 5876, BB 585, UTG 2950.

I'm dealt A3c in the CO. UTG calls, I call, SB completes, BB checks.4 to the flop

Flop: 6c8c3s

SB, BB and UTG go all in, I push in also with the flush draw and the pair.

Turn: Js

River: 2s

Results:

SB shows Jc9c for a pair of J's
BB shows 2c6d for 2 pair
UTG shows 4h5h for the rivered straight
I show a pair of 3's

UTG takes down 8053.

Did I play this correctly?

Post-flop it looks good. With a nut flush draw plus pair and overcard I am not folding being that you are short stacked.

Pre-flop without blind sizes it is hard to say if limping is fine. Based on you saying you are seriously short stacked then I would never limp with a hand. It would either be raise or fold.

You don't mention how big the blinds were, but I'm guessing 200/400.

On the flop, it sounds like you were getting about 10-1 on your call. Your play there was correct.

The only thing I might have done differntly was raise all-in preflop, but I doubt that would have changed the result.
