Terrel Davis announces retierment

Goes without the usual ballyhoo for one of the game's greats, this guy was the next special one after emmit and barry sanders, and now he's done.... no special goodbye from espn or nothing... he will be long forgotten, never to be heard from again... so so so sad...

Dan Patrick has an essay up on the ESPN site stating that he belives TD is a HoFer. I am inclined to disagree. What does everyone else think?

Not a HOFer. And I'm a Bronco fan who knows that he was the critical addition to the team to get them their two Super Bowls. Very sad, but I think the Broncos should have been cold hearted and shopped him a year or two ago. I thought it was clear he was either done or would never be the same. Some team with bad management/player personnel might have given way too much for damaged goods because he was so great when healthy.
