I am playing at planet poker(my new favorite). I am BB catch worse hand 72 off suit. 5 call in the hand no raises. And then it happend the flop comes 772 rainbow. Checks to me I put in a modest best, 4 folds and 1 raise i reraise he calls, I put him on a high pair. turn junk we both check, river junk, he goes all in, i thought for a sec and call, he had pocket aces. I can only imagine how he felt to have his aces cracked by the notorious 7/2 off. As a newbie this really excited me and I had to share /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Anyone who doesn't raise with pocket Aces deserves to have them cracked.

I agree 100% but it worked out great for me the pot ended up being about $40.00 which is a big one for me playing at the micro limits /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I wasn't disparaging you at all. I was just pointing out the bad play by the other player. You meted out justice, had fun, and made money at the same time. That is a good thing.

Slow playing the AA is a DISASTER if you are willing to put in all your money when you get them cracked. The only mitigating factor is if you believe, by just calling, you can get some sucker to put in all HIS money if he flops a pair less than Aces. That doesn't happen often, especially since almost everyone would be MORE willing to put in the rest of their money if they flop a pair, because the pot is bigger and their odds (pot size to bet size) is more favorable.
