Yesterday, I was walking through the UNLV campus. As I was going past a guy, he turned to me and said nothing but "Tell her now or tell her nothing"? I thought for a second and said "Tell her now".

With that said, I think your advice is correct. Straight up, brutal honesty is the correct way to deal with anything in life as far as I'm concerned. Somehow, I think you think the same way. Nice reply.

What were you doing at UNLV? Taking classes? Or looking for a soft home game? /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I've been working way too much...I seriously thought I was in the Small Stakes. Man, and I quit doing drugs years ago, maybe it's time to start up again.

Sorry Dynasty.

if you need other poeple in life then diplomacy is best but if you dont ever need anyone then brutal honesty is best.

Always tell her nothing. Sheesh, have you checked to make sure your penis is still there lately?

Tell her now, tell her nothing; either way, just tell her what she wants to hear. That way you avoid a long discussion later.

Had a similar instant pollster approach me near the entrance of a building that also houses a dance school and he stood in front of me in his anorak under the sun and asked "I do what my brain tells me or my heart tells me?"

I thought I saw in his eyes what "his brain" was telling him to do and I suggested heart.

I guess the hard part is finding a happy medium amongst the two then.
