Giving him too much credit

Critics of Alger give him too much credit. After all, he is a broken down man that used to have a legtimate life. He cashed it all in for his compulsion to gamble. For some reason he has equated his downward social mobility with hatred for the capitalist system.


In the final analysis, even if Alger does advocate violence against Israel and the USA

(which he does), he is harmless.
