This is not your conventional DVD. It is a video by Beryl Korot with music by Steve Reich.

Three Tales is about three phases of technology of the 20th Century. The first is titled Hindenburg which mixes images of the Hindenburg Zeppelin catastrophy and is about Hindenburg himself. The second is tale is Bikini. Which is about how man with the invention of the atom bomb now has the power to destroy the world. The third tale is Dolly. It's about cloning, robots, cyborgs, and how technology controls man. This is only a short description of what this video is about.

The video is a montage of images with mechanized music with many political and social meanings. The best part of the video is the third titled Dolly. It quotes leading professors and intellectuals from MIT and Oxford, to name a few, and matches the quotes to the rhythm of the music and video.

You will find this DVD packaged with Steve Reich's CD in the classical music section.

I highly recommend watching this DVD for it will give you alot to think about concerning politics, religion, and technology.
