Sometimes I wonder if some of us perhaps spend a little bit too much time discussing the Middle East and Terrorism issues on this forum.

For those who would like some exposure to a newsgroup which discusses these things almost exclusively, here it is. You'll find some interesting information mixed in with tons of opinions and, of course, the crackpot ratio is reasonably high too. If you're willing to sift through a lot of chaff, however, you might find some real wheat in the form of newspaper reports or links you never knew of before (for instance UPI articles maybe two years old dealing with Saddam's instructions to his nuclear team to begin reconstituting his nuclear weapons program four months before he kicked out the UN inspectors.

There is also someone there posting by the handle "M" and another "m*" but they are not me (I haven't posted there...at least yet). I think the "M" there writes commentary on the Middle East for The New York Post, but I might be mistaken on this. "Doogie" (Doug Grant, DGVREIMAN is also there, but his posts are far more sensible on these topics than were his rants on how casinos "cheat" customers regularly at blackjack--well maybe he might go a bit overboard at times, but he does seem pretty well-informed on the issues regarding the Middle East and Terrorism.

So maybe this newsgroup will provide an additional outlet, or information source, for those who are interested.
