I have a couple questions about casino rates.

1) If you're a guest at a hotel, do they give casino rates to poker players?

2) If so, how many hours do you have to play?

3) Let's say the answer to #2 is 4 hours. If my wife plays also, does that mean we could each play 2 hours and get casino rates? That is, can we add our hours of play together?

Thanks for your input!

I believe all the Vegas casinos which have poker rooms have special rates for poker players. You would probably have to make your reservations through the poker room.

4-5 hours per day should be the required playing time but it depends on the specific casino. I suspect you could combine hours.

Yes, there are "poker rates" at casinos.

The minimum number of play-hours varies. Four to eight hours per day is typical.

Most time minimums are "per room." So, if two people are sharing a room, their combined play time counts toward the minimum.

Terms vary. Call the casino and ask for the poker room. Once connected, ask them about their poker rate and they will give you the details. Call several rooms and compare the rates.
