Well, that means it's just slightly more credible than if it was Germany's "Weekly World News".

I noticed that this article is awfully short on specifics. No date is given, nor is there any indication of the source of the article. Somebody must have overheard this alleged conversation. I wouldn't expect a legitimate news article to necessarily name names, but I would expect something like "An aide to the Brasilian President overheard this conversation" or "Sources in the White House". This lack of any of this sort of details makes me suspect that this story is a complete fabrication.

well its not like he got lost while jogging and had to have the secret service get him, or that he didnt recoginze a bust of jefferson at monticello,like his challenger in the 2000 election. actually gore has to be a genius since he believs cars are a greater threat to the world than nuclear missiles.
