Birthday Trip--Where to go 4 Poker?

Okay, the General has just approved his foot soldier's request for leave.


Last trip was to AC in June, trip before that was to Commerce and before that Vegas.


Am undecided ... does anyone know where the best action will be in early August? (And spare me the "the best action will be whatever table you're at, desire" comments.

Vancouver, BC nice cool weather in the 60s and 70s mostly sunny so far this year. Too late now to buy a cruise trip to Alaska but side ferry trip to Victoria/Vancouver Island always available. Beautiful scenery, always green and clean air and surroundings. Generally safe compared to other major cities, I dont mind walking downtown even in the evenings. I've lived and visited many other cities in the world and not to exaggerate, this is paradise. By the way, there are good low limit,mid limit games at the local casinos.

The Bike has a month-long tournament in August, and the best action is always at the Commerce these days. But if you want to go somewhere new, I think you would enjoy the Bay area.
