I can’t stand it. Six players tied for the lead; Tiger stalking two behind. Could it get any better than this? (No!) And what about the caddies? They’ve jockeyed for position coming into the turn, keeping a tight rein, but who can bring his horse in?
Will the field collapse, or does the crouching Tiger make his move, showing he’s the best there’s ever been? Will Tiger collapse? He wants three majors in a year, real badly; he wants the history.
Corey Pavin?! Three back, but I’m pulling for him. Why not? His caddy’s going to have to go to the whip, though. I’d love to see him fire a 64 today.
