I am at $1344, after having dipped to friggen $400 or so and coming back.

Today (the 7th) I start my 3 day work week, 12 hr shifts....so I'll post tomorrow, but no playing....this is JayCo's chance to whup my ass bad...LOL -

I'm a firm believer in doing fun things to avoid poker burn out. This certainly qualifies. So here I am at the OIC. I have 3 goals:

1) Have fun w/a great contest and group of players.
2) Work off my depo bonus at Stars
3) Since I'm doing this at Stars, I know that I'm playing against tougher than avg opponents. This will be a comfort if I bust out. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif If I don't bust out...I'll take this thing right up to the 100/200 game. Status: 2.5 hours in, +$3.50. YeeHaw!

70 hands of $15-$30 later, my $1,200 is now precisely $15

It started with a couple of questionable pre-flop calls to get myself in trouble, mix in an 0-fer on flush/straight draws, some tilt, and VOILA! No money!

Well, like I said, I'm only really out $25, and it was fun, but ouch ouch OUCH that's a lot of cash to lose so fast.

Quick update - all in with KJ flop KT7... AACK GAG! just lost to T7 with a 7 on the river to really rub it in nice and good.

Hopefully my misery saves you from doing the same Whiskey - can I humbly suggest dropping down in levels whenever you dip below 20 or 30 BBs - sure wish I did.

I'm sure in the morning (after I yack), I'll have learned something. I hope.
