It seems generally accepted that the best way to work off the $80 bonus is blackjack. I submit that pai gow poker may be the best way to go due to the large number of pushes which still count toward the wagering requirement. Plus blackjack bores me to tears. I was just curious if anyone knows the theoretical EV's of the two options.

For the record, I have played two months. Last month I played blackjack and made it a little over halfway to fulfilling the requirement before busting out. This was before I knew that the remaining portion carried over month to month, so I got impatient and bet bigger than I should have trying to get it done. This month I played pai gow at $10/hand, finished off both months and gained $34 from this play for a total +$114.

any advantage you can gain from playing pai gow poker comes from the ability to be able to play the banker against other players who make mistakes (sounds a bit like holdem)

there is an optimal strategy but it is very complex (see Frank Scobletes book Guerrilla Gambling, or Stamford Wongs guide to Pai Gow poker)

If you can't be the banker online, I would say you have buckleys chance of keeping your bankroll over the long haul. So basically I agree with Granny, but hey keep us informed of your progress, Me I am sticking to Blackjack, especially with their new one deck game.

Hi dink:
can u play muti-hand single deck?I doubt it.
I play the muti-hand bj 5 hands times $2.00 or up to $10.00 per.

I was originally told u had to make min $5 bet but this incorrect u can make $2 bets.

For me I think the best way to clear the bonus in a timely fashion is to play muti-hand bj ,play 5 hands at table minimum and play until u have wagered the required action.
ps
and stay away from the craps table hehe..which i luv
