General Deposit Bonus Question

At most of the major online rooms, can I make a deposit, withdraw my deposit before I start playing, and then just play with the bonus money? I realize that you have to play a certain # of hands to withdraw the bonus money, but do you have to play these # of hands before you can withdraw your original deposit as well?

No, at all sites you must play the required number of hands before your bonus is credited to your account. The one exception to this rule is Intercasino's 100% match bonus ($80 max), but this bonus must be cleared in their casino. Say you deposit $80, they give you $80 to mess around with in their casino. You clear it by wagering a total of 20 times the bonus amount (20x80=1600). Your original 80 will still stay in your poker account untouched. The cool thing about this bonus is that you can hit it up each and every month. Hope this helps.

The only site that I know of that automatically deposits the bonus into your account is Pacific poker. However, you must wager 20x the amount of the bonus to withdraw it from your acount. I'm not sure if you can withdraw your initial deposit before clearing the bonus though, but I would think that you could.
