For all you Art-see film nuts here is a webpage with some good women in prison flicks, just in time for dallying away those dog days of summer. Bitches in Prison (http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/frameset/index.asp?frame=browse_subcode.asp?sRow=1&sCat=WOM EN+IN+PRISON+++++++++++++++&Section=ac)

The movie titles are pulchritudinous. In fact, I think the simple and elegant title "Women Unchained" is hard to beat for ANY MOVIE TITLE EVER. It is simply the NUTS. I bet the movie is really, really good too.

Did not Wendy O. Williams do a women in cages flick - So Young, So Bad, So What?

So if your baseball team is on the skids (like the Diamondbacks) and you need some good evening entertainment..... well, you can thank me later, I guess.

These look like very redeeming films. Your post was good, but to be a contender for post of the year, you must have pictures. See if you can get some stills of "Amazon Jail", it will help your chances. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

This may help my chances some. Two websites below with reviews/one with still photos one with classic movie poster. Best I could do on short notice. The reviews make great reading - Enjoy.

I take note that the avant-garde film critics are absent from this theard. Well, chacun a son gout! /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Here are some links to photos and also a review of Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill

Bitching Review (http://www.efilmcritic.com/review.php?movie=4406&reviewer=176)

For all the art-see movie men out there it should be obivious that in a Russ Meyer's movie the Art is very evident (busting out you might say) and not hidden in some fog of intellectual clap-trap.

Zeno,

And just when I was ready to compose a paean to Pat Ast!

I just can't help but think the women in prison genre needed a John Waters and Divine treatment to really bring it into the mainstream.
