Here is what it says when logging in to NETeller...

[ QUOTE ]
Remember:
Never give your Secure ID to any unauthorized user.
Never use your Secure ID on any other site that is not an authorized NETeller Merchant.
<font color="red">You will never be asked to reveal your password by a NETeller.com representative.</font>
Passwords should be changed regularly.

Now when I go to make a cashout to NETeller from PokerRoom, they ask for your NETeller password. Now, they already have my Account ID and my Secure ID from the depost I made with them...

Should I be concerned with giving my password for a cashout?
If any of you have cashed out from PokerRoom to NETeller, did it ask you for your password too? And did you do it?

I have cashed out from almost every other cardroom out there and do not ever remember being asked for my NETeller password by any of them...

Llama,

I haven't played at pokerroom forever, but I belive they are asking for your pokerroom password, not you neteller password. If they want everything that sounds sorta dangerous, maybe contact neteller support for advice? Maybe they could create a different password or something.

Hope this helps,
jHE

Hmmm, never even thought they could want their own password...it doesn't even specify. I went ahead and put in the PokerRoom password and it looks like it's on it's way to being processed.

Thanks for your advice!

I saw your last post about pokerroom and I want to give it a try.
Aren't you worried? You just gave pokerroom your password ID etc. They can go and take all your money.
40% bonus is pertty good. I'm tempted... /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I didn't give them my NETeller password, I gave them my PokerRoom password. I'm sure they already have that as they would need to send it to me if I forgot it.

I cashed out all but $400 which was quickly given back to the house at Let it Ride. I should have cashed it all out, but I get addicted to stuff like that and just had to keep playing. I almost cancelled my cashout so I could win back what I just lost, then thought about how quick the $400 just went and chalked it up to a lucky run. I then summarily beat myself in the hand so that I couldn't click a mouse button.

Hopefully the cashout goes quick or there is no telling what this addiction may do.

You're really addicted
Internet is dangerous.
I used to have the same problem. I kept playing and playing. And when I lost I felt like banging my head to a wall. Now I have fun every day. I don't play too much. I try to win my few bucks and leave. I almost subscribed to a online casino. But then thought: nah, I'd better not gamble.

How do I get the 40% on pokerroom? Is it worth going there?
Can I refer anyone?
Let me know because I want to try it out.

You have to sign up a new account under CardPlayer.com with the promotion code "cardplayer". There is a banner with the info right on the homepage of www.cardplayer.com (http://www.cardplayer.com)

As far as an existing account, i'm not sure you could get the 40%. I guess that's something you'd have to email support about. I just looked and didn't see an option to put in a promotion code upon a deposit, so i'm pretty sure it is for new accounts only.

Is it worth it? Well, it is essentially a $210 bonus because you need 1000 points to release the bonus and for every 100 points you can convert them into a $1.

You'd have to play a minimum of 1000(if the rake was at least $1 each time) hands of poker to get the 1000 points. I played Let it Ride and was in and out of there in 2 days with minimal playing time. Of course I gambled like a fiend and I wouldn't wish that on anyone...there was craziness in my eyes and I shunned my family during these hours of play. Although i'm happy with my outcome, i'm glad to get out of there and get back to HE...the path I was heading was getting shorter and shorter and I saw a glimpse of a brickwall up ahead...

As far as referring...I guess cardplayer would get those honors!

Good luck if you decide to give it a try!

Jason, I was just going to pretend that I didn't see your post, but I thought that would be rude. So, I figured i'd just let you know that I never read it instead. I hope you understand /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Don't get me wrong, I tried to read it, but it was all blurry and made my head hurt /images/graemlins/confused.gif
