Typical CP 4-8 holdem.

3 loose limpers, hero limps with 6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif button limps, SB completes, BB checks. 7 to the flop for 7sbs.

Flop J /images/graemlins/club.gif8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Solid SB bets, loose double aggressive BB raises, 1 limper calls(LL), hero calls, SB three bets, all call. 4 to the turn, 19 sbs.

Would you have called the double bet here?

Turn, A /images/graemlins/spade.gif

SB bets, BB folds, LL calls. 23 small bets in the pot, do you call here?

Results, in a bit.

I would have folded on the flop. You have an easy call on the turn here though.

I like both the flop and turn calls. I think 2 pair or a set are more likely for the SB than 9 10, so you still have odds to draw for the straight.

If a 9 does show up on the river I would be wary of any raise by the LL who may have been on a draw with a 10.

I'd fold to that initial flop raise every time.

I would have folded on the flop. I dont like drawing to a "Gutshot". The nine isnīt really a good card IMO. Here should have folded, he might even be drawing completely dead.

That is what I thought also, but he called two bets cold on the flop, and then decided to fold on the turn when facing one big bet, closing the action, with a turn card that didn't change the situation. I didn't get it.

For what it's worth, the river was a 4 making the hero's hand if he was still there, and the SB bet was called, and won the pot with 87 for two pair. LL didn't show.

Pretty much my thinking exactly.

Fold on the flop, call on the turn.
