Why entitle it 'unlucky'? Why is the link called 'well since no one else stepped up'?

What is going on here?

He's posting about the cancelation of the TV show Lucky, hence the thread title, Unlucky. I think the URL name is because no one had posted about the cancelation. Please correct me vehn if I'm wrong here.

Al, it took me a while to figure it out too. If you look about 2/3 of the way down the page you'll notice the TV series "Lucky" has been canceled. Henceforth the title of the post.

That's odd, when I click on it it puts it right on the top. I was just assuming Al was a retard.

I'm usually retarded, and in my condition now, definitely am retarded, but it puts the lucky link at the top.

Agreed. We should all try to get the word "retard" out of our vocabulary. However, I think "unforgivable" much too strong a word. I have been guilty of saying "retard" many times in the past, and though I am sorry I did I have forgiven myself. As for Vehn insulting you, well, it did seem out of line but on the other hand this is the "News, Views, Gossip" forum.

Anyway.....

An open challenge:

Let's everybody put our heads together and think of a good mild insult interchangable for "retard" which does not unjustifiably denigrate any particular group, other than the immediate object of derision (excuse the verbal diarrhea, I just woke up /images/graemlins/blush.gif)

As an example, instead of "fag", I now use the word "anus." As in "Zele... what an anus!"
