To play in the truepoker freeroll tournaments, do you have to make a deposit to your account first? If so, what is the minimum deposit you can make?

it's been a year since i played in one but they simply requried any real money on deposit...no raked hands needed...but so many folks were trying to get a seat that it was a random crap shoot...

Truepoker runs No Limit TV Freerolls to coincide with that certain poker TV show airing on the Travel Channel. There is no minimum balance or play requirement, you need only have opened a real money account .... If you are opening an account for the first time, you need to deposit $30 to open the account, but you are not required to have played any of it before trying the TV freerolls. We hope you may decide you like the 3D format and our other real money Tournaments or ring games and decide to play here after the tourney or some other day.

Truepoker offers other "freeroll" events for which qualifying play is required, based upon popints, BUT the TV Freerolls do not.
