So I go on a rush in a UB 2/4 kill game. Starts off with JTc flopping AcAxQc rivering Kc (go UB high hand bonus!!!), and getting trip aces to cap against me. I post a blind after winning then next hand with AJo. Then later in the SB I get some big ace and win without a fight postflop. So, I have 8s8d on the button. Folded to me and I raise, both blinds call.

Flop Th 8h 2c

Sb checks, BB bets, I call, SB calls.

Turn Th 8h 2c 8c

I've seen worse turn cards, but now I'm stuck.
Sb checks, BB bets, we both call.

River is the Kd

SB checks, BB checks, I bet, SB checkraises (!!!) and I three bet after the fold. Ks7s no good.

this was in part inspired by homer's post, sorry man.

Quads are nice...But raise the flop everytime. Hearts must pay, repeat after me, hearts must pay. This is a must raise the flop board.

my original plan was to raise the turn...probably cost myself some money on the hand, but given the river action I dunno that I see the quads if I raise.

Eh.. I disagree.. the pot is small enough that I think you can easily consider slowplaying a set here.
