How do you feel about playing these suited cards in a 7-8 handed, loose/passive game, with 5-6 seeing the flop?

Q 10
J 9
10 8
9 7

Thanks!

Loose passive, 5 or 6 seeing the flop, I pretty much like all but the 97s. And I don't even hate that one much...

I fold all of these hands if it's raised before me regardless of how loose or passive the game may otherwise be (unless I'm in the BB, obviously). But if it's not raised, then

QTs-- I play 100% of the time, regardless of position or number of players in the pot

J9s--about 80-90%

T8s, 97s---not in early position, but once there's 3 or 4 limpers, I play close to 100% of the time, overall about 60-75% of the time.

hi zulu
if you have a good read on the blinds, then you can come in with QT and J9. if you are in a passive game and the blinds are weak tight, the T8 and 97 suiteds become playable. but mucking them unless your on the button is not wrong.

the idea behind these holdings is that you want to have an over-card along with your draw. you then raise to get heads up if you can do so. so, you want players who are passive and weak tight, not solids i kid you not. one solid in the game and no matter how many opponents come in, unless you're on the button, fold every time. but remember that over-card feature that you like with the gapped type hands. you want to have an over-card on the flop, it really makes a difference.

I feel pretty damn good about it. In fact, I feel so good, I think I'm gonna go have a beer.

you then raise to get heads up if you can do so.

I agree with the raising with a god draw, but not you reason. If you want to win many pots getting it HU is fine. If you want to win money, you raise to build a big pot!

5 or 6 seeing the flop and it's passive? I'd play every one of these hands UTG.

Everyone seems to forget that HEPFAP specifically reccomends playing J9s UTG in a loose-passive game.

Hey, its a teir 4 hand if I remember correctly. Can't be that much of a stretch to play it.

I've very happy to see the flop with all those hands
MP or LP with 5-6 seeing the flop.
