Ok, now that I have your attention. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

1/2 Party Poker - typical loosey-goosey game.

I'm in the BB w/ K /images/graemlins/spade.gif 9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

MP open limps, CO limps, Button limps, SB completes, I check.

Flop: 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif K /images/graemlins/heart.gif J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

I bet, MP calls, SB calls.

Turn: J /images/graemlins/club.gif

I bet, MP raises (MP is a loosey-bluffy-fish that could have A9o, or any K), SB cold-calls, I call.

Who folds? Who calls?

River: 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

I check, MP bets, SB calls, I fold.

Comments?

Against a loose/bluffy fish I check raise the flop every time.

I think folding the turn is pretty standard and not that difficult. The Jack is a horrendous card, but I still bet the turn KNOWING I can fold to a raise against typical opponents, let alone a RAISE AND A COLDCALL. Your flopped top and bottom pair have been counterfeited and you are now beat by kings with a better kicker, let alone three jacks or a straight (hey didn't the SB call two bets?). You can fold now.

I'd fold on the turn most of the time.

I should have folded on the turn.

MP showed QJo for the winner as SB called w/Jxs.

Why call the turn if you're going to fold that river?

Like I said in my RESULTS, I should have folded the turn. I just brain-hiccupped thinking my 9 was still in play some how...then I woke up on the river.

Any desire to call the raise would be wiped out by that coldcall.
